Indulge in this wonderfully refreshing, scrumptious strawberry matcha latte this summer!

Strawberries and matcha are the perfect pair, they go so well together in this latte. This drink screams summer and is guaranteed to boost your energy levels. An absolute must-try in strawberry season.
This latte is chockfull of antioxidants and has fantastic health benefits too! It is no wonder that matcha tea is known as the miracle drink of the Japanese: it can help with weight loss, detoxification and lowering blood pressure as well as cholesterol levels. Yummy and healthy, what more do we need, right? :)
The recipe makes 2 servings, so you can share with a friend, lover or family member, but we totally understand if you want to keep it all to yourself and save the second serving for later. ;)

INGREDIENTS (2 SERVINGS):
- 250 grams strawberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1 Tbs maple syrup (optional)
- ice cubes (optional)
- 2 tsp M Matcha Premium or M Matcha Culinary
- 160 ml water
- 160 ml plant milk
METHOD:
1. To make the strawberry sauce, blend together strawberries and maple syrup in a blender. Alternatively, you can use an immersion blender as well.
2. Sift matcha powder into a cup, pour in water and mix using the e-mixer.
3. To make 1 serving, spoon some strawberry sauce to the bottom of your favorite glass or drinking jar (about one-third of the way). Then place in ice cubes (if using) and pour in the plant milk (about two-thirds of the way). Try using a teaspoon when pouring to create nice, clean layers.
4. Finally, pour in the matcha tea to fill up your glass and enjoy!
